Col. Mike Bridges, Alaska Army National Guard, takes time out of his day as a governance team leader for an embedded provincial reconstruction team to spend time visiting with local Iraqi children. The two Iraqi girls received candy and slippers courtesy of the Anchorage Hillside Rotary, which frequently sends care packages to Bridges to share with other Soldiers and Iraqi children.
