3rd Battalion in Iraq CAMP BUEHRING , Kuwait (Sept. 12, 2007)-The Star of David hangs from the hand of Spc. Frankie Miles, a Humvee turret gunner for Delta Company, 3rd Battalion, 297th Infantry, Alaska Army National Guard. Regilious symbols provide comfort for many Soldiers doing dangerous duty in Iraq. As a civilian, Miles works for a tire and auto business in Wasilla, Alaska.
