Alaska Army National Guard Holds Historic Transformation Ceremony FORT RICHARDSON, Alaska – Lt. Col. David Osborn, 297th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade commander stands at parade rest with his troops during the Alaska Army National Guard transformation ceremony April 13, at Buckner Physical Fitness Center on Fort Richardson. The transformation of the Alaska Army National Guard makes additional military occupational specialties available to Guard Soldiers, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and skills in their Guard duties that transition into the civilian workforce.
