Nearly 180 Alaska Army National Guard Soldiers Welcomed Home FORT RICHARDSON, Alaska – Anchorage resident, Staff Sgt. Daniel Bell, Bravo Company, 297th Support Battalion, Alaska Army National Guard, is welcomed home with a kiss from his girlfriend Virginia Ward at the National Guard Armory on fort Richardson, April 24, after returning from a six-month deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
