Alaska Army National Guard Pilot Retires After 42
Years' Combined Service
FORT RICHARDSON, Alaska
–Alaska Army National Guard rotary-wing pilot with Alpha Company, 1st
Battalion, 207th Aviation Group Chief Warrant Officer Chuck
Hosack took his last flight in a UH-60 Black Hawk, April 23. Hosack,
pictured here with Alaska Army National Guard Col. Jerry Kidrick, has
served with the Alaska Army National Guard since 1981, and he served
15 years active duty prior to that. “He has been a great officer and
a very dependable and safe pilot who has taught a lot of young pilots
the nuances of flying in Alaska,” said Kidrick. “He will be missed.”
