Nearly 180 Alaska Army National Guard Soldiers
Welcomed Home
FORT RICHARDSON, Alaska
–Alaska Army National Guard Soldiers file off a bus outside the
National Guard Armory on Fort Richardson after successfully serving
six-months with Bravo Company, 297th Support Battalion as
security forces based out of Camp Anaconda, Iraq. Nearly 180
Soldiers, who deployed in October 2007, returned April 24 to the
National Guard Armory on Fort Richardson where they were excitedly
greeted by family and friends.
