Welcome Home
Maj. John G. Owens is welcomed home to Kulis Air National Guard Base on Jan. 14 by his wife, Karin, and their eight-month-old son, Thomas, and their 10-year-old son, Jacob. Owens is a member of the Alaska Air National Guard’s 144th Airlift Squadron and had been deployed to Afghanistan since Oct. 2007 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
