Welcome Home
Jacob Owens, 10, flies into the arms of his father, Maj. John G. Owens, on Jan. 14 to welcome him home after a deployment to Afghanistan. Owens is a member of the Alaska Air National Guard’s 144th Airlift Squadron and had been deployed to Afghanistan since Oct. 2007 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
