297th Support Battalion Soldiers Welcomed Home FORT RICHARDSON, Alaska –Commander, Capt. Joshua L. Shrader and First Sgt. Shawn D. McLeod, Alaska Army National Guard Bravo Company, 297th Support Battalion uncase the company colors during the official welcome home ceremony held at the Alaska National Guard Headquarters on Fort Richardson, May 1. Nearly 180 AKARNG Soldiers have been deployed in Iraq since October 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
