297th Support Battalion Soldiers Welcomed Home FORT RICHARDSON, Alaska –After a successful six-month deployment in Iraq, nearly 180 Soldiers with the Alaska Army National Guard’s Bravo Company, 297th Support Battalion were recognized during a welcome home ceremony for their amazing courage and sacrifice while securing the freedom and safety of the state and nation at the Alaska National Guard Headquarters on Fort Richardson, May1.
