Attention Norton Sound Fishermen:

Application Deadline Extended !!

Due to confusion about who can apply for the new Norton Sound portion of the Western Alaska Fisheries Disaster Assistance –

The deadline for Norton Sound fishermen to apply has been extended until October 23, 2000.

This assistance is for commercial fishermen, crewmembers, processor workers and eligible subsistence fishermen who fished for salmon in Norton Sound in 1999.

(A program for the 2000 fishing season has not yet been established.)

To apply or for help completing applications,

call 1-888-388-3473, Monday-Friday 10am-4pm.
